Terms of use

The rules for using the daily clinical game.

Last updated: 28 September 2026. By using Osteodle, you agree to these terms. For questions, see our contact page.

What Osteodle provides

Osteodle is a free educational diagnosis game. Each case is fictional and simplified for learning. Answers and explanations may be incomplete or change as clinical knowledge develops. The game is not a clinical decision tool and does not establish a diagnosis for a real patient.

Playing and accounts

You may play without an account and optionally submit completed results to the leaderboard as a guest. An account saves results across devices. Give accurate account details, keep your password private and do not use another person’s account. Email verification and password recovery are not currently available, so keep your password somewhere safe.

Do not interfere with other players, submit automated or fraudulent results, attempt unauthorised access, or send confidential patient information. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the game and its users.

Results and availability

Daily cases, archives, rankings and site features may be corrected, changed or temporarily unavailable. Scores are for enjoyment and learning; they are not professional credentials or verified assessments of clinical competence. You can delete your account and saved results from your account page.

Content and links

Osteodle’s design, wording and case content belong to its operator unless otherwise stated. You may share the spoiler free result produced by the game. Please do not republish entire cases or interfere with the site. External websites and social platforms have their own terms and privacy practices.

Clinical responsibility

Use your own clinical judgement, patient specific assessment and referral procedures in practice. See the Clinical Disclaimer. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may revise these terms as the service develops. The current version will be published here with its update date.
